My approach to family professional photos is slow and detailed, so you can fall in love with soulful artwork that ignites the same emotions 10, 20 and 30 years from now. From capturing the raw photographs to hand-editing each individual image – you’ll receive a richly coloured story with classic composition evocative of heirloom artwork that must be printed to be genuinely appreciated.

I take time to consult with you in-person on albums, print sizing, frames, placement and positioning so you can soak up the tenderhearted moments of your children running down the hallway, elatedly pointing at themselves with summerlike smiles.

It starts with an easygoing phone call - then I'll guide you through the rest.

Instead of an overwhelming gallery with hundreds of duplicates, I spend countless hours curating a considered collection of portraits – each with their own emotion, focal point, breathtaking lighting and rich colour composition.

During an in-person presentation, you’ll preview your digital images and be guided through artwork selection to adorn your family home.

I’ll hand deliver your artwork prints four to six weeks later – your family legacy framed through a lens that’s equal parts nostalgic, bespoke and animated with emotion.

A natural family photography session is unhurried and follows your family’s flow. Together we’ll laugh, play and move through many candid moments – taking in each other, our surroundings and the time your loved ones need to create these ephemerally artistic memories.

Some families are busier and tiny toddling attention spans make for a one-hour session – others are relaxed and we can wander slowly through the motions. I’ll follow your lead.

Whether these connections are enduring, like with your dearly loved children and spouse – or transient and fleeting like with me, a Melbourne photographer you’ve not met just yet: these connections and moments are still meaningful. Because of this, I want my families to fall irrevocably in love with every photograph. So, if you decide not to purchase any digital images or artwork, I will refund your session fee in full.
